Cards You Can Count on For Decades

You may have heard of these cards before. Kem: even the name evokes images of late-night poker games, weekly bridge, cribbage in pubs... Okay, so why do I wax poetic over playing cards?
Why? Because they are, quite simply, the best. Right out of the box, Kem shuffle like the perfectly broken in deck: not too stiff, not sticky, not slippery. Just right. And what’s more:  they stay like that. I’ve had people come in to replace their Kems, sure, FORTY YEARS after the original purchase. That’s how good they are.
Certainly the most expensive cards we carry, in the long run Kem are the least expensive. Because you'll use them for a long, long time.
Kem cards are available in large print and regular, narrow (Bridge-sized), and wide (Poker-sized.) Their back designs are limited to only four patterns, but these are patterns that won’t go out of style tomorrow.

Game(r) Review

How can I review Settlers of Catan? It's been around for twenty years and still going strong. That, in itself, is a huge point in its favor.  It's got great expansions (love Cities and Knights), spinoffs (Settlers of the Stone Age, I'm talking 'bout you!), and even special tables made for play. Heck, I even plunked down the money for a personal copy and I like to hang on to my cash. So let's just say Catan is an awesome game and move on.

So instead I'm going to review the gamers.  These are four of our regulars. They play everything from Warhammer 40K to Waterdeep to Magic the Gathering.  They're good sports.  They're competitive and generally have a positive attitude.  They're even nice about being asked questions about what they're playing.
They are part of the reason that I really like working here. When I get to sit down and play a good strategy game, it's a safe bet I've had a good day.
